This is just an excuse to experiment with a scanner and digital camera.

Fish: These menacing fish greet visitors and amuse my cat.

Garden: Despite my best efforts to the contrary, these eggplant survive.

Books: I just love the look and the smell of these leather-bound books.
Computers
Of course I'm interested in computers, and here's where it all started. My data center, circa 1981. The antiques in the picture are crowded together to make room for the newly arrived PC. Before that, I used CP/M, Basic, and Wordstar on the black system in the center. My brother built it.
I've moved on to more advanced systems since then -- just see the AS/400, Mainframe, and Unix sections on the experience page.

Starting at the left:

Exidy Sorcerer; 2 megahertz Z-80. Cassette data storage interface and ROM cartridges.

Not visible in this picture were a daisywheel printer and a Teletype model 43 printer.
